Dr. Benjamin Douglas je zubař. Musí se vyrovnat se ztrátou své ženy, která mu utekla s jeho spolupracovníkem. Jeho dcera Diana Cassidy je přinucena s k němu přistěhovat poté, co se nechá rozvést.
